Version: v1.2Effective Date: September 24, 2026Company: Viking Media Labs Inc., a Canadian corporation operating DoserlyLegal notices: legal@doserly.com; 72 Victoria St S, Kitchener, ON N2G 4Y9, Canada

1. Agreement and eligibility

These service Terms are between you and Viking Media Labs Inc. ("Viking," "we," "us"), operating Doserly. Review them before creating an account. The app asks you to affirmatively accept the Terms and Privacy Policy and records their versions. The Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling.

Only people who have reached the age of majority where they live may create a Doserly account. This is 18 or 19 in most of Canada and the United States, depending on location, and 18 in Australia. If you have not reached that age, you may not create an account. Dependents, including children, cannot create accounts through another person's profile.

An adult account holder may maintain a profile for a child, another dependent, or a pet under the conditions in section 11. The adult's age attestation does not establish consent or authority to process another person's information.

2. Medical, veterinary, and emergency boundaries

Doserly helps organize records, schedules, reminders, and educational information. It does not diagnose, prescribe, provide treatment or medical or veterinary advice, create a professional relationship, or replace a licensed clinician, pharmacist, or veterinarian. Consult an appropriate professional before making a health or animal-care decision. Do not use Doserly for emergencies. Call local emergency services or seek urgent care.

A tracked item, library entry, example, calculator, or report is not Viking's endorsement, prescription, approval, or verification of any medicine, peptide, research compound, off-label use, or veterinary treatment. Approval, quality, availability, and legal status vary by place and product. Obtain and use products lawfully and consult an appropriately licensed clinician or veterinarian. A "research use only" label does not establish that human or animal use is safe or lawful.

3. Calculators and drug information

Calculators show arithmetic from values you enter or select; they do not prescribe a dose or confirm a product's identity, concentration, sterility, suitability, or preparation instructions. Before preparing or administering anything, independently check vial strength, units, diluent, final concentration, syringe scale, and calculated volume against the product's official instructions and a qualified prescriber or pharmacist. Do not use a result if any input or unit is uncertain.

Pharmacokinetic estimates are models, not measured levels. Drug information can be incomplete or outdated. Never start, stop, change, prepare, or administer treatment solely from Doserly information.

4. Educational interaction checks

Interaction checks use a limited offline reference set and may omit products, combinations, dose, route, timing, or personal risk factors. References can become outdated while offline. "No interaction found" means only that this limited check found no match; it is not a safety clearance. The app's educational warning applies to each result: discuss these and other possible interactions with your pharmacist or healthcare practitioner before starting, stopping, or changing anything. A prescriber or pharmacist should review your complete regimen.

5. Data accuracy and your responsibilities

Scanning, product lookups, manual entries, health-store imports, lab displays, and charts can contain errors, missing or duplicate records, or unit and timing differences. Wearable readings depend on the source device and its calibration. Check critical values against original labels, devices, lab reports, and qualified professionals. Charts and possible associations describe recorded data; they do not establish diagnosis or cause. Keep your credentials secure and maintain another record of critical medication information. We remain responsible for duties that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

6. Offline use, account sync, and reminders

Account sync is part of Doserly's service. You may enter data while offline, but changes can remain queued until a connection returns. A failed or conflicting change may require your review. Check that important entries reached the intended account profile. We do not promise continuous access or perfect backup. Mandatory consumer rights and our non-excludable duties remain unaffected.

Reminders and messages may be late or absent because of app, device, network, or provider conditions. Keep an independent backup for time-critical medication. Lock-screen dose previews are generic by default; you may choose more specific previews in notification settings. Other notification types may include a user-created label or item name. This warning does not remove any right or remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

7. Subscriptions and payments

An Apple or Google subscription renews at the interval and localized price that store shows at checkout until you cancel through that store's subscription management. The checkout screen presents the current price, interval, any trial terms, renewal, and cancellation method before purchase. The store manages applicable price-change notices and approvals; we give any additional notice required of us. Cancellation generally stops future renewals; continued access and any refund or prorated remedy follow the store's rules and applicable law.

Deleting your Doserly account or app does not cancel store billing. Cancel the subscription separately through Apple or Google, including if you can no longer sign in. Free features and paid entitlements may change subject to section 20 and your mandatory rights.

8. Optional AI reports

If you request an AI report, the pre-send disclosure identifies the categories for that request and asks you to allow processing by OpenAI. The report path sends de-identified health summaries using private item aliases, relative day tokens, generic labels for custom items, and a random submission token; it excludes notes and other free text from the provider request. This reduces direct identifiers but does not make a person's health summary anonymous. Doserly restores display details in the saved report. The Privacy Policy describes OpenAI's application-state and abuse-log retention and deletion limits.

Wearable summaries are excluded from AI requests while that option is disabled. If later enabled, inclusion is off by default for each request and requires a separate choice. Health-store access and wearable account sync are separate choices. An AI report may invent or miss facts. A trend or association does not establish cause. Never use a report to start, stop, or change medication, preparation, or dose without qualified clinical advice. In a saved report, tap "Report a problem with this content" to flag an output in-app, or contact support@doserly.com.

9. Acceptable use and access

Use Doserly lawfully for personal recordkeeping. Do not misuse another person's data, disrupt security, gain unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, scrape the service, or resell it without authorization. We may suspend access for a material violation or urgent safety, security, or legal reason. For a non-urgent suspension or termination, we will give a reason and a reasonable chance to export records where practicable. We may act sooner where delay risks harm or legal noncompliance. Purchased-period and statutory remedies remain available.

10. Your content and our operating permission

You retain ownership of content you provide. You authorize Viking and its service providers to host, encrypt, sync, display, back up, secure, and otherwise process it to operate Doserly and optional features you choose, as described in the Privacy Policy. Retention and deletion are subject to your privacy rights and applicable duties. This permission is limited to operating the service; it is not a perpetual licence to retain health content after account deletion or to create population-level health products. If you submit feedback, we may use the suggestion to improve Doserly, but health records included in feedback remain governed by the Privacy Policy.

11. Family, dependent, and pet profiles; exports

Create a profile for another person only if you are their lawful parent or guardian or have valid authority or consent to manage that person's information, including any required permission for optional sharing or AI reports. Keep access appropriate, honor a valid objection or withdrawal, and correct or remove information when your authority ends. We may ask for proof of authority or suspend a profile to protect that person. Pet tracking is recordkeeping only and does not replace veterinary advice. Imported phone-health-store readings are limited to the primary adult self profile.

After you direct an export or share to a destination outside Doserly, you are responsible for that destination and your later sharing choices. This does not release us from responsibility for our own acts or omissions, unauthorized disclosure, or duties that law preserves. Check exported values before relying on or sharing them.

12. Third-party services and app licence

Doserly uses infrastructure, sync, notifications, billing, and optional feature providers described in the Privacy Policy. Store billing and operating-system permissions follow their applicable terms. FatSecret and Open Food Facts may provide product or nutrition lookup results when you use that feature; verify important details against original packaging and professional sources.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Doserly service and app while your account is active, subject to these Terms and applicable store rules. This does not transfer our software, brand, or reference-content rights. Open-source components retain their own licences, available in Settings > About > Open Source Licenses.

For the iOS app, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app licence. These are Viking's service Terms, not a custom Apple EULA. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no maintenance or support obligation under them.

13. Availability and limited warranty

Subject to non-excludable rights and remedies below, we make no additional voluntary warranty that Doserly will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or suitable for a particular medical decision. Beta or preview functions can change or be unavailable. Nothing here limits any consumer guarantee, statutory service-quality warranty, or liability that applicable law preserves. We will use reasonable efforts to mitigate interruptions outside our control and communicate material service effects where practicable.

14. Liability and Protected Parties

For sections 11, 13, 14, and 15 only, "Protected Parties" means Viking Media Labs Inc. and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and service providers acting for Doserly. Each is an intended third-party beneficiary of those sections and may enforce them to the extent permitted by law. This does not exclude an individual's independent statutory liability.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Viking and the Protected Parties' combined liability for claims arising from Doserly is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Doserly during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$100. To that same extent, they are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. This limit and exclusion do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, liability for death or bodily injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited, statutory privacy or consumer remedies that cannot be limited, or any other liability that law does not allow us to limit.

For Australian consumers, nothing limits Australian Consumer Law guarantees or remedies. For Quebec consumers, nothing frees us from consequences of our own act or our representative's act. For Ontario consumers, statutory service-quality rights remain. Nothing in these Terms limits a regulator's powers, a right to report a concern, or any privacy, consumer, health, safety, or other statutory duty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. No term releases a director, officer, employee, or contractor from personal liability imposed by law.

15. Narrow indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Viking and the Protected Parties against a third party's claim to the extent caused by your unlawful use, your intentional or reckless breach of these Terms, or content you supplied in violation of another person's rights. This does not cover a claim to the extent caused by our negligence, breach of law, or contractual duty. We will promptly notify you, reasonably cooperate, and not require you to fund a settlement without your consent. This clause does not reduce non-waivable consumer rights.

16. Disputes and Ontario law

Contact legal@doserly.com with a dispute; we will try to resolve it within 60 days. You may bring an eligible individual claim in a small-claims court where you live. Nothing prevents a complaint to a regulator or a court proceeding that mandatory local law permits. Ontario law governs only to the extent it does not displace mandatory law where you live. Subject to those rules, Ontario courts may hear disputes; a court with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law may hear your claim. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class proceedings.

17. Ending use and deletion

You may stop using Doserly or request account deletion in Settings > Account > Delete Account or at privacy@doserly.com. Deletion follows the Account and Data Deletion page and does not cancel a store subscription. On termination, your service licence ends. Sections concerning content already processed, user-directed exports, warranty, liability, indemnity, disputes, and statutory rights survive only as needed and as law permits; the Privacy Policy continues to describe retained information.

18. Events beyond reasonable control

Neither party is responsible for delay caused by an event outside its reasonable control, to the extent affected. The affected party must take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and resume performance. This does not remove mandatory consumer remedies or excuse payment already due for a service provided.

19. General terms

If a clause is unenforceable, the remainder continues only where lawful; no clause is rewritten to remove a consumer protection. A failure to enforce a clause is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms to a successor with notice and equivalent privacy protections; your mandatory rights remain. Apart from the Protected Parties expressly named above, these Terms create no third-party beneficiary rights. The Privacy Policy is a notice of processing and does not reduce your statutory privacy rights.

20. Changes

We will explain material changes and their effective date before they take effect, with a reasonable opportunity to review. The app requests fresh affirmative acceptance of updated Terms and Privacy Policy versions through its policy review flow. Changes do not apply retroactively to accrued claims. If a change materially reduces a paid service, you may cancel and receive any refund or remedy required by the store or law. For Quebec consumers, changes apply only through a process permitted by Quebec law, including any required notice and right to refuse or cancel.
