1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using the Doserly application or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Doserly.
2. Eligibility
To use the Services, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority or minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the Services under applicable law
Caregiver Use: If you use Doserly to manage medications or health information for another person (such as a child, family member, or care recipient):
- You represent that you have legal authority or valid consent to do so
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered on their behalf
- You remain the primary responsible party for medication administration decisions
- Doserly does not verify caregiver relationships or permissions
3. Medical Disclaimer — IMPORTANT
DOSERLY IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE.
The Services are designed to help you organize and track medication schedules and health information. The Services do NOT:
- Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Create a physician-patient, pharmacist-patient, or any healthcare provider relationship
- Replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals
- Guarantee the accuracy of any medication or health information
- Guarantee delivery or receipt of reminders or notifications
YOU MUST:
- Verify all medication information with your prescriber, pharmacist, or official product labeling
- Consult qualified healthcare professionals before making health decisions
- Not change treatment based solely on information from Doserly
- Maintain backup reminder systems for critical medications

4. Emergency Use Prohibited
DO NOT USE DOSERLY FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, immediately:
- Call your local emergency services (911 in the US and Canada, 000 in Australia)
- Go to the nearest emergency room
- Contact a poison control center if relevant
Doserly is not designed or intended for emergency use. Notification delays, app failures, or any other issues with the Services are not a substitute for emergency medical care.

6. Cloud Synchronization (Required)
Cloud synchronization is required for the Services to function as designed. By using Doserly, you authorize:
- Storage of your data on secure cloud infrastructure
- Synchronization of your data across your devices
- Processing by our service providers as described in our Privacy Policy
If you do not consent to cloud synchronization, you cannot use the Services. To stop cloud processing, delete your account.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
A. Subscription Terms
If the Services include paid subscription tiers:
- Pricing, features, and renewal terms are disclosed at the time of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
- Cancellation stops future renewals but does not provide refunds for the current period (unless required by law)
B. App Store Billing
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are governed by the respective platform's billing terms, refund policies, and subscriber agreements.
C. Price Changes
We may change subscription pricing with advance notice as required by law. Price changes apply to subsequent billing periods, not current subscriptions.
D. Free Tier
Certain features may be available without a paid subscription. We reserve the right to modify free tier availability.
8. AI Features (If Enabled)
If AI-generated reports or insights are available in the Services:
- Informational Only: AI outputs are for informational and educational purposes only. They are NOT medical advice.
- May Be Inaccurate: AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your situation.
- Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for evaluating AI outputs and deciding what action, if any, to take.
- Professional Verification Required: You must verify AI outputs with qualified healthcare professionals before making health decisions.
- Availability: We may suspend, modify, or discontinue AI features at any time without prior notice.
- Rate Limits: AI features may be subject to usage limits.
Consent to AI Data Processing
By using AI-generated report features, you consent to the transmission of a subset of your health tracking data — including medications, adherence patterns, symptoms, and lab results — to third-party AI and large language model (LLM) services, including those provided by OpenAI, for the purpose of generating your requested reports. This data is processed on servers in the United States.
This consent is specific to AI report generation and is separate from your consent to core data collection and cloud synchronization. You are never required to use AI features. If you do not consent to this data processing, do not use AI report features. Your use of all other Services is unaffected.

9. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:

Scrape, mine, or collect data from the Services without authorization

Use the Services for any purpose other than personal health tracking

Resell or commercially exploit the Services without authorization
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms.
10. User Content
A. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create in Doserly (notes, photos, health entries). By using the Services, you grant Doserly a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content as necessary to provide the Services.
B. Aggregate Data License
By using the Services, you grant Doserly a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual (surviving account deletion), worldwide license to use your content in de-identified, aggregate form for the purpose of generating statistical insights, improving the Services, and informing product development. "De-identified, aggregate form" means data that has been stripped of all personal identifiers and combined with data from other users such that it cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual. This license does not permit us to use your content in individually identifiable form for any purpose beyond providing the Services. See our Privacy Policy for details on our de-identification practices.
C. Your Representations
You represent that your content:
- Does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- Does not violate any applicable laws
- Does not contain malicious code
D. Content Removal
We may remove content that violates these Terms, without prior notice.
11. Export and Sharing
A. Your Control
You may export or share your data using features provided in the app (export, caregiver sharing, etc.).
B. Your Responsibility
Once data leaves the Services, you are solely responsible for:
- The security of exported files (storage, transmission, encryption)
- Decisions made by you or third parties based on exported data
- Accuracy verification before sharing with healthcare providers
- Compliance with applicable privacy laws if sharing others' data
- Any consequences of sharing your data
Doserly has no control over and accepts no liability for data once it leaves the Services.
12. Third-Party Services
A. Dependencies
The Services rely on third-party infrastructure, payment processors, notification services, and other providers. Your use of the Services is also subject to:
- Terms imposed by your device's operating system (iOS, Android)
- Terms of app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play Store)
- Terms of our service providers
B. Limitation
We are not responsible for:
- Availability, performance, or policies of third-party services
- Actions of third-party providers consistent with their policies
- Interruptions, delays, or failures in third-party infrastructure
- Changes to third-party terms, features, pricing, or availability
D. Nutrition and Supplement Lookup Providers
Some supplement lookup and nutrition-data features may rely on third-party nutrition data providers, including FatSecret and Open Food Facts.
If you use FatSecret-powered content in the Services:
- you agree to comply with the FatSecret Platform API Terms of Use and related policies that apply to that content
- you understand that FatSecret-provided nutrition or product information may be incomplete, unavailable, or different from product packaging or official labeling
- you agree to verify important product, ingredient, serving, allergen, and nutrition details against the product packaging, manufacturer, pharmacist, prescriber, or other qualified professional sources before relying on them
Relevant third-party terms and policies may be updated by those providers from time to time:

Your use of third-party lookup content is also subject to those third-party terms where applicable.
C. Open Source
The Services incorporate open source software components. Attributions and license terms are available in the "Open Source Licenses" section of the app (Settings > About > Open Source Licenses).
13. Beta and Preview Features
Features marked as "Beta," "Preview," "Experimental," or similar designations:
- Are provided for evaluation purposes
- May change or be removed without notice
- May contain bugs, errors, or incomplete functionality
- Are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
- Should NOT be relied upon for critical medication management
14. Service Availability
We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Updates and improvements
- Technical issues or failures
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
We are not liable for damages resulting from service interruptions, synchronization delays, notification failures, or temporary data inaccessibility.
You should maintain local or backup records for critical medication information.
15. Intellectual Property
A. Our Rights
Doserly and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including:
- Software, code, and algorithms
- Visual design, user interface, and user experience
- Trademarks, logos, and branding
- Documentation and content we create
B. Your License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
C. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the Services
- Create derivative works based on the Services
- Use our trademarks without written permission
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
16. Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Services, you grant us the right to use such feedback without obligation or compensation to you, subject to applicable law.
17. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.
WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF INFORMATION
- RELIABILITY OF NOTIFICATIONS OR REMINDERS
- UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
- SECURITY (NO SYSTEM IS 100% SECURE)
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- Reminders or notifications will always be delivered or received
- The Services will meet your requirements
- The Services will be accurate, reliable, or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The Services are free of viruses or harmful components
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
18. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
A. Exclusion of Damages
DOSERLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Services
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Conduct of third parties on the Services
- Any content or information obtained through the Services
- Missed, delayed, or failed notifications or reminders
- Medication errors or adverse health outcomes
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Reliance on AI-generated outputs
B. Liability Cap
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- The amount you paid to Doserly in the 12 months preceding the claim, OR
- One hundred US dollars (USD $100)
C. Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of certain damages or exclusion of certain warranties. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Australian Consumers: If you are an Australian consumer, our Services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Nothing in these Terms purports to exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer guarantee or any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Doserly, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your content
- Your negligence or willful misconduct
20. Dispute Resolution
A. Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@doserly.app to attempt informal resolution. We will try to resolve the dispute within 60 days.
B. Exceptions
Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized access.
21. Termination
A. By You
You may stop using the Services at any time. To delete your account and data, use Settings > Account > Delete Account, or contact privacy@doserly.com.
B. By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You violate these Terms
- We reasonably believe termination is necessary to protect the Services, users, or third parties
- Continued provision is commercially impractical
- Required by law
C. Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the Services ends immediately
- You may export your data before termination (if access permits)
- We may delete your data after a reasonable period
- Provisions that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, limitations, indemnification, dispute resolution) will survive
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory local law applies.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
23. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
For material changes:
- We will provide notice (in-app, email, or both)
- Where required, we will request re-acceptance before you can continue using the Services
- The updated Terms will indicate the effective date
Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.
